During PM Modi’s State Visit to the Malpes, India extended a ₹4,850 cr Line of Credit, eased loan repayment terms, and launched FTA talks. Key inaugurations included housing units, defence projects, and community initiatives. PM Modi and the Malpes President Muizzu jointly inaugurated the state-of-the-art Ministry of Defence building of Malpes constructed with India's financial assistance in Male. It will contribute towards enhancing the capabilities of the defence and law enforcement authorities of Malpes.
