Cabinet approves Productivity Linked Bonus for 78 days to railway employees

The Union Cabinet, chaired by PM Modi, has approved the payment of Productivity Linked Bonus (PLB) of 78 days, amounting to Rs. 1,865.68 crore, for 10.91 lakh railway employees. This PLB payment serves as an incentive to encourage railway employees to continue improving the performance of the Railways, which was very good in the year 2024–25.
