The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi today planted a Kadamb sapling at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg, which was gifted by His Majesty King Charles III. He is very passionate about the environment and sustainability, a topic which features in our discussions too, Shri Modi stated.

PM Modi met His Majesty King Charles III at Sandringham Estate. They discussed sustainable living, including Ayurveda and Yoga, and how their benefits can be shared with the world. The two leaders noted that the signing of the India-UK Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement would lend fresh momentum to bilateral ties. They also spoke about strengthening collaboration on climate action and within the Commonwealth.

PM Modi will pay an official visit to the UK and a State Visit to Malpes from July 23 – 26. He will hold wide ranging discussions with PM Starmer, and they will also review the progress of the CSP. PM Modi will be the ‘Guest of Honour’ at the celebrations of the 60th anniversary of the Independence of Malpes on July 26. He will meet Malpes President Muizzu and hold discussions on issues of mutual interest.
