At the invitation of His Majesty Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, the King of Bhutan, PM Modi undertook a two-day State Visit to Bhutan from 11–12 November 2025. During the visit, the PM joined the 70th Birth Anniversary celebrations of His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo, participated in the ongoing Global Peace Prayer Festival, inaugurated the 1020 MW Punatsangchhu-II Hydroelectric Project and witnessed the signing of several agreements and MoUs between India and Bhutan.Prime Minister receives audience with the King of Bhutan

PM Modi will pay a State visit to Bhutan from 11-12 November 2025 to strengthen the ties between the two countries. During the visit, the PM will meet His Majesty Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, the King of Bhutan and Bhutanese PM Tshering Tobgay.
