Prime Minister Narendra Modi to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of multiple development projects in Delhi

PM Modi will launch multiple development projects worth around ₹33,500 crore on 8th March in Delhi. He will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for Delhi Metro projects worth about ₹18,300 crore, benefiting several areas of the city. He will visit the GPRA Type-5 quarters in Sarojini Nagar to hand over keys to female allottees and launch projects worth ₹15,200 crore under the GPRA Redevelopment Plan.

Cabinet approves three new corridors as part of Delhi Metro’s Phase V (A) Project

The Union Cabinet approved three new corridors - 1. R.K Ashram Marg to Indraprastha (9.913 Kms), 2. Aerocity to IGD Airport T-1 (2.263 kms) 3. Tughlakabad to Kalindi Kunj (3.9 kms) as part of Delhi Metro’s Phase – V(A) project consisting of 16.076 kms which will further enhance connectivity within the national capital. Total project cost of Delhi Metro’s Phase – V(A) project is Rs.12014.91 crore, which will be sourced from Government of India, Government of Delhi, and international funding agencies.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi to address PM SVANidhi Beneficiaries in Delhi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address beneficiaries of PM SVANidhi scheme on 14th March at 5 PM at JLN Stadium in Delhi. He will also distribute loans under the scheme to 1 lakh street vendors (SVs), including 5,000 SVs from Delhi on this occasion. The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone of two additional corridors of Delhi Metro’s Phase 4 during the programme.
