Cabinet approves a Road Tunnel Construction project in Delhi worth Rs. 6969.67 crore

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by PM Modi, has approved the construction of a Road Tunnel Construction project in Delhi worth Rs. 6,969.67 crore. The total project length is 8.1 km, including 3.14 km of tunnel, 0.98 km of tunnel approach ramp, 0.554 km of approach with RE Wall, 2.556 km of elevated portion and 0.87 km of at-grade road. It will provide faster connectivity and employment opportunities.

PM Modi will launch multiple development projects worth around ₹33,500 crore on 8th March in Delhi. He will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for Delhi Metro projects worth about ₹18,300 crore, benefiting several areas of the city. He will visit the GPRA Type-5 quarters in Sarojini Nagar to hand over keys to female allottees and launch projects worth ₹15,200 crore under the GPRA Redevelopment Plan.
