PM Modi will visit Gujarat on 28 February 2026 to inaugurate the Semiconductor ATMP facility of Micron Semiconductor Technology India Private Limited in Sanand. The project was approved under the India Semiconductor Mission (ISM) in 2023, with a total outlay of around ₹22,500 crore. The Union Cabinet, chaired by PM Modi, has approved four semiconductor projects worth ₹4,600 crore under the India Semiconductor Mission (ISM). These projects will give a major boost to India’s semiconductor ecosystem, including the country’s first commercial compound fab and an advanced glass-based substrate packaging unit, and are expected to create jobs for 2,034 skilled professionals.
