At the inauguration of ₹34,200 crore development works in Bhavnagar, PM Modi recalled India’s historic strength as a maritime power and shipbuilding hub. Blaming Congress for the collapse of shipbuilding ecosystem, he said that with the vision of self-reliance, the maritime sector is now advancing towards next-gen reforms.
