Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today condoled the passing of Grand Mufti of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, His Eminence Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al AlSheikh.

PM Modi met the Grand Mufti of Egypt. The Grand Mufti appreciated the PM Modi’s leadership in fostering inclusivity and pluralism. Discussions also focused on issues related to social and religious harmony in society and countering extremism and radicalization. PM Modi conveyed that India would set up a Centre of Excellence in IT at the Dar-al-Ifta under the Ministry of Social Justice of Egypt.
