Cabinet approves construction of the General Pool Residential Accommodation (GPRA) in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh

The Cabinet has approved the construction of the first General Pool Residential Accommodation (GPRA) campus in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh, at a cost of ₹1,234.91 crore. Spread across 17 acres with 1,504 residential units, the green-rated project will provide modern housing and civic amenities for Central Government employees while generating significant employment and supporting efficient government functioning.

PM Modi will launch multiple development projects worth around ₹33,500 crore on 8th March in Delhi. He will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for Delhi Metro projects worth about ₹18,300 crore, benefiting several areas of the city. He will visit the GPRA Type-5 quarters in Sarojini Nagar to hand over keys to female allottees and launch projects worth ₹15,200 crore under the GPRA Redevelopment Plan.
