PM Modi arrives in Sweden

PM Modi arrived in Gothenburg, Sweden, and was warmly welcomed upon arrival by the Swedish PM Ulf Kristersson, himself, as he began an important leg of his five-nation tour. Sweden also sent its fighter jets to escort PM Modi. PM Modi to visit UAE, Netherlands, Sweden, Norway and Italy from May 15 to May 20, 2026. During the visit, he will meet UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and exchange views on various issues. In Netherlands, the PM will meet King Willem-Alexander and hold talks with PM Rob Jetten. In Sweden, he will hold talks with PM Kristersson. In Norway, he will call on King Harald V and hold bilateral talks with PM Jonas Gahr Støre. Later, he will visit Italy to hold talks with PM Giorgia Meloni.
