The Union Cabinet chaired by PM Modi has approved a Scheme for Promotion of Surface Coal/Lignite Gasification Projects with a financial outlay of Rs. 37,500 crore. In line with the announcements made in Union Budget 2018-19, the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) chaired by PM Modi has approved the increase in the MSP for 14 Kharif crops for Marketing Season 2026-27. This will ensure remunerative prices for growers for their produce.
