Cabinet approves railway projects across several states, expanding Indian Railways network by about 389 kms

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by PM Modi, has approved three railway projects worth around Rs. 18,509 crore. The projects are in line with the PM’s New India vision of making people Atmanirbhar by enhancing employment and self-employment opportunities.
