Cabinet approves revised cost estimate for the construction of Greenfield Connectivity in Uttar Pradesh and Haryana

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired PM Modi, has approved the revised total capital cost of Rs.3630.77 crore for the construction of Greenfield Connectivity in Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. The 31.42 km long project corridor will provide direct and high-speed connectivity from South Delhi, Faridabad and Gurugram to Jewar International Airport, thereby promoting economic growth and logistics efficiency across NCR.

The Project will be constructed by Vadhavan Port Project Limited (VPPL), an SPV formed by Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) and Maharashtra Maritime Board (MMB) with a shareholding of 74% and 26%, respectively.
