The Union Cabinet has approved Phase 2A of the Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project, a 6.032 Km with 05 stations connecting key urban areas to Ahmedabad Airport. The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by PM Modi, has approved upgradation of Hiwarkhedi-Roshni-Ashapur-Rudhy Section of NH-347B and widening of Deshgaon-Julwaniya Section of NH-347B in Madhya Pradesh at a cost of Rs.4,415.60 Crore.
