Cabinet approves Ahmedabad Metro Rail project Phase 2A (Koteshwar Road to Airport corridor)

The Union Cabinet has approved Phase 2A of the Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project, a 6.032 Km with 05 stations connecting key urban areas to Ahmedabad Airport. The ₹2,169 crore project will expand the Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar metro network to 77.63 km, improve connectivity, reduce traffic congestion and emissions, boost economic activity, and generate employment during both construction and operations.
