At the invitation of New Zealand PM Christopher Luxon, PM Modi is on an official visit to Auckland, New Zealand, on 10 and 11 July 2026. The two Prime Ministers held discussions and decided to elevate the bilateral relationship to a 'Strategic Partnership'. They agreed to take bilateral ties to a new level, strengthen existing cooperation mechanisms and explore new avenues for deepening cooperation.
