During the inauguration of the Safran Aircraft Engine Services India facility in Hyderabad, PM Modi remarked that the new establishment will strengthen India’s emergence as a global MRO hub. Highlighting the employment opportunities, it will create for the youth of South India, he noted that the facility will give fresh momentum to the entire MRO ecosystem. In a big step towards the goal of Aatmanirbharta in the aviation sector, PM Modi will inaugurate the Safran Aircraft Engine Services India (SAESI) facility on 26th November at 10 AM via video conferencing. It is located at the GMR Aerospace and Industrial Park – SEZ, Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad. With an initial investment of around ₹1,300 crore, the SAESI facility is designed to service up to 300 LEAP engines annually.
