At the Joint Press Meet, PM Modi highlighted that Singapore is India’s largest trading partner in Southeast Asia. He noted that, in line with evolving times, advanced manufacturing, green shipping, skilling, civil nuclear, and urban water management will form key areas of India-Singapore cooperation. PM Modi and Philippines President Marcos Jr. addressed a joint press meet in New Delhi, marking 75 years of diplomatic ties. PM Modi announced the decision to elevate the relationship to a Strategic Partnership with a detailed action plan. Key areas of focus included defense, maritime cooperation, space, AI research, trade, and cultural exchange. He welcomed visa-free entry for Indians and promised full support for the Philippines' ASEAN chairmanship next year.
