In his address at the India-Canada CEO Forum, PM Modi highlighted the emerging ties between the two countries as they steadily progress toward taking bilateral trade to 50 billion dollars. He put forward a few suggestions regarding Clean Energy, Infrastructure & Capital Partnership, AI, Manufacturing & Technology, and Food Processing. PM Modi held a bilateral meeting with Canadian PM Mark Carney on the sidelines of the G7 Summit. The leaders reaffirmed the importance of India-Canada ties and discussed opportunities for future collaboration in areas such as clean energy, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, LNG, food security, critical minerals, higher education, mobility, and supply chain resilience.
