Shri Narendra Modi meets a delegation of Promoters and Builders from Sangli

Gandhinagar, Monday: A 30-member delegation of Promoters-Builders Association of Sangli from Maharashtra called on Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi here today.

Mr. Srikant Patwardhan and Mr. Vijay Sahasrabuddhe said they were impressed by the unprecedented success of water and electricity and other urban infrastructure facilities and construction in urban development.

The delegation on a two-day tour under the aegis of Confederation of Real Estate Developer's Associations of India (CREDAI) visited Sabarmati Riverfront, BRTS, GIFT City, Gandhi Ashram, Dholera SIR and Solar Park. They also watched a PowerPoint Presentation on Gujarat’s all round development in urban areas.

Mr. Modi briefed them about people’s participation and faith reposed on the leadership, qualitative changes in land settlement policy, which invited praise from the apex court also.

Others from Gujarat Government side during the meeting included Principal Urban Development Secretary I.P. Gautam, GUDC Managing Director Haider and Chief Minister’s Secretary A.K. Sharma.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi met Dr R Balasubramaniam today and signed a copy of his book ‘Power Within: The Leadership Legacy of Narendra Modi’. The book captures Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership journey and interprets it through Western and Indic lenses, amalgamating them to provide a roadmap for those who aspire to a life of public service.

Replying to a post on X by Dr R Balasubramaniam, the Prime Minister wrote:

“It was a delight to meet Dr R Balasubramaniam earlier today. Also signed a copy of his book. My best wishes to him for his future endeavours.”
