Day 4 – CM visits Nagoya, Osaka & Kobe; meets top banks, industrialists & ministers strengthening mutual ties

Day 3: CM travels by a Bullet Train to Hamamatsu, receives majestic reception there, meets Suzuki Chairman Osamu Suzuki
After 2 days hectic schedule in Tokyo, Shri Modi took a ride in Japan’s fastest Bullet Train from Tokyo to Hamamatsu covering the distance in 90 minutes, to a warm welcome at Hamamatsu. Addressing an Investment Seminar with focus on Automobile sector in Japan, he said Gujarat has all the excellent infrastructure in place necessary development of auto industry!

Day 2 – Gujarat is on the way to assuming a new identity as an ‘Industrial State with Green State’, said CM
Strengthening ties with the land of the rising Sun, Shri Narendra Modi met Japan’s Dy. PM H.E. Mr. Katsuya Okada, among other leaders and held several one-to-one meetings with top honchos of leading Japanese companies in Tokyo. Having a wonderful interaction with members of the India Center Foundation, he extended his invitation to investors from Japan to participate in the 2013 VGGIS.

Shri Modi started his Japan visit with fruitful meetings with top Japanese Ministers including former PM Mr. Shinzo Abe. Giving an inspiring speech at the JETRO seminar, he touched upon a variety of issues from economic cooperation to the deep-rooted ties between India & Japan. The opponents of Shri Narendra Modi are obviously not seeing his official visit to Japan to further take ahead the relations between Japan & Gujarat in good terms. Recently, Union Minister Ambika Soni went on records & said, “He may try and win over as many contracts for the development for Gujarat, that’s what his job is but lets not do it at the cost of other states”.
