Utilizing MIT(USA) free courses in colleges
Hi All,
MIT(Massachussets Institute of Technology)has some some course content available online, so that it can be used by students and teachers worldwide. This includes around 1000 different course covering engineering, medicince, science, arts, humanities etc.I think awareness should be created about this and if possible the courses can be used in engineering colleges by proffesors. Not only engineering, these courses may be used even in medical, science and other colleges. You can get further details at
This is a very good idea. There are many such institutes offering such online course materials including video lectures. Even the IITs have a program called NPTEL, National Program for Technology Enhanced Learning (http://nptel.iitm.ac.in/) where they post online course materials. This can not only be useful for students but also for teachers. Actually entire courses can be taught using video lectures, where teachers are there in class only to solved the doubts of students. This will greatly help in bridging the gap between elite institutes and other normal colleges.

ya this is a very good idea. Even we can make an internal Lan of all colleges in guajrat. Locally everyone can access data. Apart of mit and iit, other top usa universities like Stanford, Harvard have video lecyures available on youtube
