Idea is to use Mobile phones to enhance the rural folks so that they get to use rural health schemes for their benefits. This can be provided on language platform where rural folks are well versed with their mother tongue and are more acceptable to receive information in their own / regional / mother tongue. Gov should use the trend of ever increasing mobile subscriber base and literacy to the maximum which will help our rural folks. Since Gujarat is model state for many I thought rural health care can have new dimension if we provide the information in language for the rural. This will also help rural folks to get in touch with Gov officials if there is any kind of discrepancy or mismanagement etc. This is like empowering rural folks by offering such services.

I like the way you’ve organized ”Garib Kalyan Mela”. Another idea could be announcing medical treatment completely free for the whole state. Every practitioner having a specified Government of Gujarat medical registration, can treat any patient.
A unique card can be issued to every Gujarati which can be used as identification, used as a medical registration card, can contain license number or passport number (if having), blood group and even emergency contact numbers and contact person’s name.
Every working Gujarati should contribute to the state government which can be classified as state health insurance contribution (SHIC). I like the way you’ve been running “108” emergency service.
This would be a wonderful addition to such a wonderful service that has been provided by you.

Apart from serious offenses, some offenses don’t have that much grievousness. For such, I would say community service punishment should be implemented on a larger scale to create awareness or even to teach a lesson. Sweeping roads, some construction work, and other community related services could be taken into account.

HARDER TRAFFIC RULES AND PENALTIES:
Nowadays, people don’t respect the law because they know they can get away with the traffic offenses by paying fine! I think penalties should be so high that people should be afraid before breaking the law. In foreign countries, penalties to break red signal are high and there is also point system. If any one break signal, they’ll be fined with huge penalty as well as marked with points. A full driving license can have 12 points and if a signal is broken, the driver would be charged with 6 points. If 12 points are marked on license, then the license gets canceled for two years. Such implementation in the state would at least make people think twice before breaking the law. There are more examples about traffic but they’d automatically implemented by people once they start having sense of traffic.

Multifold benefits of increase in Bicyle use
Taking in to account the serious concern of climate change, I would like to give a suggestion to my own Gujarat Government to initiate a mission called ‘Bicycle Promotion’. We see in India, we have a very bad habit of picking ‘Motor cycle’ even for the smallest work at the closest destination. This habit is slowly making us less active and also resulting in increased fuel consumption and more Green house gas emissions in mother nature. Benefits of Bicycle Use:
1.Less pollution due to less fuel consumptions by millions of people every day.
2.Enhanced health of the people and community.
3.Employment generation in bicycle design and manufacturing sector.
4.Less traffic on roads as less people will be seen with motorcycles and cars.
5.Less parking space requirements for bicycles compared to motorcycles and cars.
Lets all join hands and work together to protect our mother nature. Very well said by somebody: ‘If not earth then where. If not now then when. If not we then who.’
MIT(Massachussets Institute of Technology)has some some course content available online, so that it can be used by students and teachers worldwide.This includes around 1000 different course covering engineering, medicince, science, arts, humanities etc.I think awareness should be created about this and if possible the courses can be used in engineering colleges by proffesors. Not only engineering, these courses may be used even in medical,science and other colleges.You can get further details at
a)In cities, houses of societies using solar energy for street illumination can be given rebate in house tax.
b)In villages,govt can install solar panels to illuminate villages/interior roads.
c)Corporations can use solar panels for illuminating street lights. This will save lot of electricity and will be particularly useful during any drought like situation.
Swagat program should be expanded
Swagat program currently in districts other than Gandhinagar is managed by collectors. I had an experience of the same in Baroda. To incorporate more views and allow more discussion on the issues, I feel people's representatives i.e. MP, concerned MLA's and concerned Corporators (i.e.of the constituency) should be involved.They are accountable and will help in resolving the problems of the common man on the street.More advertisements should be given to this program. There is very little awareness.
Deliver electric power to villages by combining solar and wind power and LEDs through a modular electrification project in co-operation with village leaders.
I'm a Gujarati who came to USA in 1969 and have love for Gujarat. Gujarat is lucky to have excellent chief minister like you. I feel, you may be interested in modular electrification project for villages. As China and one city in USA has already started through a combination of solar, wind power and LED revolution. Combining these three technologies will revolutionize our power needs. Existing power generator can only be used in industrial supply. Gujarat has the required technology and talented professionals to do this project. I was impressed with the water purification and supply project in village of Fatepur, Sabarkantha. This whole project can be done in cooperation with village leaders. Present technology also feeds back the excess electricity to main grid for use in the cities. This project is happening in China now. Please look into this. Thank you.

Empower villages through organized skill development
If you want to leverage State you need to empower every Village. Just think about if all village people have work - harness their potential. Use their skills, brand each village through the products made there and Put on WEB site like www.Marugamdu.com. Sell all products. Like Kachi Bharatkam ,Khakhar ,Ghee ,Masla etc all You have every village to be branded like Kutch for Bharat Kam ,Khambhai for Ghee >>> Bring Kurian kind of revolution. The world will know the latent potenial and talent of Gujarat.Every one will prosper with peace and Better quality of Life
Agriculture and framing is the heart of the India. Its importance in economic, social and political framework is endless. It's the most important source of income for the farmers. To improve and benefit the farmers of Gujarat we should start contract farming. Contract farming will make markets, credit, and technology available to the farmers. It will be beneficial to the farmers as government agencies are administrating the work. Farmers are owners in this sector, but farming is done by agencies on contract basis. For corp, investment is done by agencies. The facility provided by government is properly utilized. The corp produced is best in quality because of the modern technology used and provide good returns. Thus the concept of contract farming should be implemented and farmers should be educated on the benefits of contract farming.
