Shri Narendra Modi meets Sri Sri Ravi Shankar

Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi today paid courtesy visit to spiritual Guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.

A closed-door meeting between Chief Minister of Gujarat and spiritual leader of Art of Living happened at Sri Sri’s Anklav vadi ashram in central Gujarat and lasted for over an hour.

Ashram’s Shri Mehulbhai Parikh told media persons that there was no political discussion between both dignitaries. He added that when Modi arrived, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar was in dhyan mudra, Modi too joined Sri Sri and sat on dhyan for some time. Later they had general discussion about various topics including the 150th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda in 2013.

In last phase of his 7-day visit to Gujarat, Sri Sri presently is holding a special Diwali camp for children and teens between 6 am to 6 pm at MS hostel in Vadodara. The camp and Sri Sri’s Gujarat visit both will conclude on 31st of October.
