Dear Friends,

Once again on the occasion of International Women’s Day there will be talks, debates and discussions on the subject. Some old, often repeated things will be retold while some new hopes and aspirations will also spring up.

In the midst of all this I thought I would not add anything new.

Instead, let me share with you Gujarat’s committed efforts, the realization of new dimensions and the steps we have taken for women empowerment.

I request you to take a look at the attached links that illustrates our strides in order to spearhead women development.

Friends, on International Women’s Day I salute the power of ‘Matru Shakti’ from the bottom of my heart.
