In Gujarat, Good Governance has become a natural practice, says Shri Narendra Modi. Shri Narendra Modi has been constantly innovating aiming at excellence in governance. His understanding of the importance of technology in effective and efficient delivery of services has enabled the state to take up many innovative steps for empowering people.

Hi there,
I am in Canada for last 12 years and would like to share my first hand experience with Mr. Modi’s wonderful governance. The aspect of Mr. Modi’s good governance, from which I got benefited, is SWAGAT online “grievance redress” system. My father-in-law was being harassed by couple of corrupt government officers for almost 4 years. They made our life like a hell with all the court issues and spending lakhs of rupees. Being in Canada and having the impression of earlier governments, I kind of accepted the situation. But then I heard about the SWAGAT online “grievance redress” system and its effectiveness. I posted all the details online and requested to do an honest inquiry and take appropriate actions. Within 3-4 months everything was resolved and my father-in-law is living a normal life again. I couldn’t have even dreamed about such thing with any other government. I didn’t have to even call anybody. Nobody contacted me. It was just a well detailed request that I posted online. I can’t thank enough to Mr. Modi and his staff helping people in such a kind and helping manner – truly, the government of 6 crore Gujaratis working for them.

On development, several of my colleagues coming from several states of India, are always jealous (not bitterly) of development of Gujarat and for having Modi as CM.
