PM Narendra Modi visits Seema Malaka Temple in Colombo, Sri Lanka

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today visited the magnificent Seema Malaka Temple in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The PM offered prayers at the shrine. Prime Minister of Sri Lanka, Mr. Ranil Wickremesinghe also accompanied Shri Modi.

Prime Minister Modi and Prime Minister Wickramsinghe together pressed a switch for the lamp-lighting ceremony on the eve of Vesak Day, characterised by brilliant multi coloured lights and a fireworks display.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi spoke to UK Prime Minister Ms. Theresa May today and expressed solidarity with UK after the terror attack in Manchester.
