Narendrayan: vyakti te samashti - ek aakalan is a non-biographical book written on the characters of Hon’ble CM Shri Narendra Modi- as a person, as an eminent leader of the Hindu society. It is purely a work accomplished as per the understanding of various aspects of the characteristics of Namo.
In the preface of the book author has clearly mentioned the purpose of this book and his need of writing it.
The author gives a very interesting start to it and the heart touching language written by him renders strength to the content of the book.
It contains very brief account of his personal life – childhood, friends and family background and about his educational qualifications as well.
The author of the book prefers to let readers know about the historical and political background of Vadnagar, Gujarat - the birth-place of Shri Narendra Modiji and the situation of India that prevailed at the time, before he goes on to talk about him. This part of book is to help the reader understand the factors which influenced the sensitivity of Narendra Modi as a child.
The book also mentions the influence of Gandhiji on Indian politics and how he was misunderstood during the Khilafat movement and at the time of partition between India and Pakistan. It also points out the misconceptions that clogged the minds of people at the time of these two occurrences.
The author emphasized very strongly on the idea of the ‘Hindu Nation’ as conceptualized by the freedom fighter Vir Savarkar and Dr. Hedgevar.
Shri Narendra Modi is looked upon as a very strong and responsible party-worker performing his duties with immense sincerity in every circumstance. He has also been seen as a powerful ‘sangh-pracharak’. A brief account on the Shri Narendra Modi’s endeavors tells us more about this.
The main focus of the book is on the various developmental works that he carried out as the Chief Minister of Gujarat, from day one, and how the state is flourishing under his leadership. There is an in-depth elaboration of the work done by him on various projects and programmes. All this is explained through separate chapters on each subject such as Sardar Sarovar, Kanya-Kelavani, Gaurav Yatra and such others.
The book has been successful in letting the readers realize that social work and political work are not different. The book is a must-read to understand how Hindutva and development can go hand in hand. The author has made an honest attempt to pen his understanding and views about Shri Narendra Modi and what further he can see him do. It makes readers think more about Hinduism and makes an impact on their minds.
Furthermore a speech delivered to teachers by Shri Narendra Modi has also been added on a concluding note. It is in Marathi language, to highlight him as a “Vakta Dashsahastresha”. This is truly a magnificent speech that leaves the reader spellbound. This motivational speech, with the powerful usage of words, with examples and quotations is enough to understand the vision of our Hon’ble CM. One would be moved to read or listen to more and more of such speeches.
The author has also used some poems written by Shri Narendra Modi at different pages which are potent enough to make this experience even more enthralling.
