Noted film actor Shri Paresh Rawal meets Shri Narendra Modi

Shri Rawal congratulates Shri Modi on becoming CM for 4th time and for winning love of the people through his exceptional leadership

On Saturday 2nd February 2013 Shri Narendra Modi met noted film actor Shri Paresh Rawal in Gandhinagar. Shri Rawal congratulated Shri Modi for becoming the Chief Minister of Gujarat for the 4th consecutive time and for winning the love of the people through his exceptionally able leadership.

Shri Paresh Rawal had extensively campaigned for the Bharatiya Janata party during the run-up to the 2012 Gujarat Vidhan Sabha Elections and has praised Shri Modi’s leadership on many occasions.

No words are enough to describe the endurance and indomitable spirit of Lance Naik Hanumanthappa. He is an outstanding soldier: PM

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, today visited Siachen avalanche survivor, Lance Naik Hanumanthappa, in hospital. The soldier was airlifted from the glacier and admitted to the Army R&R Hospital in New Delhi earlier today.

The Prime Minister was briefed on the condition of Lance Naik Hanumanthappa. He spent about ten minutes with the soldier. He met the team of doctors and medical staff attending to Lance Naik Hanumanthappa, and emphasized that no effort should be spared in his treatment.

"No words are enough to describe the endurance and indomitable spirit of Lance Naik Hanumanthappa. He is an outstanding soldier," the Prime Minister said.

The Chief of Army Staff, Gen. Dalbir Singh was also present.
