CM accolades GMB on bagging Indian Maritime News Maker of the Year Award
A striking success, Gujarat has captured nation’s attention. Gujarat Maritime Board is awarded ‘Indian Maritime News Maker of the Year Award for the year 2008-09. With the vibrant vision of Shri Narendrabhai Modi, Gujarat has emerged as the gateway to global trades. Gujarat Maritime Board won the award for its outstanding contribution in modernizing the ports. Gujarat Maritime Board has done it all for the development of ports. The Prestigious Award was given away by ‘Maritime Gateway of India. Chief Executive Officer and Vice-Chairman to GMB, Shri Pankajkumar received the awards at the hands of Union Shipping Secretary Shri Mohandas.
The proactive role of GMB is being recognised for successfully undertaking the transformation process of Gujarat Coastal lines. GMB has introduced the best initiatives for ports-development.
Chief Minister has conveyed his congratulations to GMB for receiving the prestigious honor. Out of 93 entries received all across the nation, the Jury has chosen GMB for the prestigious Award.
