awaited BRTS project got launched yesterday. The
urbanpublictransportservicepar excellence,
'Jan Marg-B.R.T.S' w
as
dedicated as a Deepavali
gift
to the citizens of Ahmedabad by Shri Narendrabhai Modi today. The estimated land cost, which is utilized for

to the
tune of Rs. 9000
crores. "We are going to celebrate Swarnim Jayanti in Ahmedabad. We are

out of development let them bear with it, "added C.M.
He cracked upon the elements eng
aged in publicizing the piece of Central-Aid.
Every year, Citizens of Gujarat deposit huge
sum of Rs. 1.75 Lakh crores, as tax in the treasury of Centre. Against that, if
Union Government releases a piece of aid for the construction of Jan Marg,
there is no point in making publicity of it,
after all the money belongs to the people of Gujarat. Chief Minister had critically raised the
issue.
What if the vision of Jan Marg
Public Transport could not get realised? Why are you so scared and pained, that
you could not construct the efficient public transport -Jan Marg-addressing the
problems of people? Who had stopped you in transforming the glittering image of
Kankariya Lake? Why you did not bothered of bringing
Narmada water in Sabarmati? He strongly objected the efforts to create
controversy over the Central-Aid component.
The gleaming B.R.T.S is to cover 88
K.Ms connecting different areas of Ahmedabad, would provide public transport services
of International class. He dedicated the first phase of Jan Marg, connecting
R.T.O to Pirana. Chief Minister received thunderous ovation from the people,
