It’s Chief Minister’s Financial Discipline that works!!!

Gujarat Scores Over Maharashtra for

the 11th consecutive year:

Bhilad Check Post continues to score over Achhad check post with revenue of Rs.69.28 crore during 2011-2012 fiscal:

Well, indeed it’s Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s financial discipline that helped Bhilad RTO Check Post increasing its earning by Rs. 504 crore more than nearing Achhad RTO Check Post of Maharashtra State during past 11 years. It is for the 11th consecutive financial year when Gujarat has scored over Maharashtra.

Bhilad Regional Transport check post bordering Gujarat-Maharashtra on the busiest Ahmedabad- Mumbai National Highway No. 8, has made an income of Rs. 69 crore 28 lakh 08 thousand 817 during the fiscal 2011-2012. On the other hand, the income made by the Achhad RTO check post of Maharashtra state located hardly one and a half kilometres from Bhilad, on the same Highway, has been of Rs.45 crore 74 lakh 48 thousand 666, accounts for less than Rs. 23 crore 53 lakh 60 thousand 151 made by the Bhilad check post during the corresponding period.

Ever since Shri Modi took over in 2001-2002, the Bhilad check post has earned an income of Rs. 8,11,87,43,859 while Maharashtra’s Achhad check post has earned Rs. 3,07,46,73,094, during the corresponding period, which is considered to be Rs. 5,04,40,70,765 less than the Gujarat-based Bhilad check post’s revenue during past 11 years.

Interestingly, nearly 13,000 odd vehicles enter Maharashtra after passing through the Bhilad check post on a daily basis. A similar number of vehicles enter Gujarat through Achhad check post located hardly one and a half kilometers from Bhilad.

Immediately after taking over the reins of Gujarat in October, 2001, the Chief Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, brought about financial discipline among the staff manning such sensitive check posts and also stepped up vigilance and brought about leakages to a standstill, which is being held responsible for the check post making such a huge revenue income each year.

Bhilad Check post in-charge H. I. Berawala and his staffers left no stone unturned to score over Maharashtra RTO.
